Hi,It's so much easier for me to give than to receive... Like alot of other people out there this year has been a hard one. I'm away from my family at a time when my mother's health is deteriorating due to a recent cancer diagnosis. I can't be there while she goes through chemo and it doesn't feel right to celebrate this holiday. On top of that my beloved cat, my constant shadow during lock down, died a few days ago. I'd love to receive some words of encouragement to help me through this holiday season.
Thanks for your support!

My heart goes out to you. Your mother's deteriorating health, coupled with the loss of your beloved cat, would be extremely painful even under the best of circumstances, but to experience dual heartbreaks during a pandemic ... I can't imagine. Please remember you aren't alone, your pain is real, and, after allowing yourself to mourn, you will heal. There is strength in reaching out, and you have done so with Together Rising. I imagine there is a support group having virtual gatherings. If you could find one in your area, perhaps you could bond with people virtually now, and then meet them in person when the pandemic is over. Sending hugs and well wishes ~ Felicia

suffering when the Pandemic struck so forcefully this year. First, I am terribly sorry about your cat. I have had my share of cats in my long life (I am 71 now) and
I still miss them all. I have two in my house now and one living in the drain pipe next door. I feed her everyday. One of these days she will come home
with me and join our family, I hope. Please celebrate Christmas. It is a Christian holiday for the birthday of baby Jesus. I am sure he is watching over your mother
and you this year. I am sending you best wishes and many blessings. I hope it helps.
