Holiday Hands

My husband and I both lost our jobs in New York City in March as COVID happened. I have a 4 year old daughter and a 1 year old son. My daughter is going to Pre-K remotely this year. I am so worried about her as I want to ensure she is ready for kindergarten next year but her Pre-K is only 30 minutes a day. My son just started walking, and it is very hard to keep him entertained in our one room apartment. I try to do lots of craft projects with my daughter, and we read lots of books together. I am really nervous about winter and how I will keep two children occupied in one room. But I try to make the best of each day and take walks outside while we can and it isn’t too cold. For Christmas, I would like to buy a footmuff for my stroller so we can go outside even in the cold. I would also like to buy my daughter a new baby doll for Christmas and a pair of warm boots and gloves so she can play outside this winter. I think my daughter would like a basic Lego set so she has a good activity to do inside on the days we can’t leave our apartment. My family lives in another country so I don’t have extra hands to help. I appreciate your generosity.
