Milcah is a former foster youth in NYC. She graduated with her bachelor's degree in communications and hopes to pursue a career in either PR, advertising, or community development. She is currently in a two-year fellowship to learn more about how government agencies function, so that she can best use her skill set to help them succeed. Milcah has two other siblings who also aged out of the NYC foster system, and they remain extremely close and support each other in all endeavors.
Due to her fellowship, Milcah has been able to remain employed during the pandemic. However, her family has not all been so lucky, and she uses her limited resources to financially assist them as well. This holiday season Milcah is asking for an air purifier for her apartment and a water purifier for her sink. She resides in public housing so these items are both extremely needed.
