Holiday Hands

I have two wonderful daughters and am awaiting the birth of my son any day. He will be a most welcome addition to our family. It has been hard to be pregnant during COVID. Like all mothers, I am trying my hardest to keep my two girls engaged in school remotely and busy outside while the weather is warmer in New York City. I worked in a restaurant before COVID. The restaurant never reopened, and I have not been able to find work being pregnant. My girls go to school in person 1 day/week so it has been a blessing to be able to be home and help them; however, my income is non-existent. I have been cleaning houses when I am able, but that money goes towards rent. I have told the girls that our Christmas present is going to be early and take the form of their new baby brother since I don’t have any money for presents. I would love to buy a stroller so I can take my new son with me when I take my girls to school. I would also like to be able to give each of my girls a new Frozen Barbie doll as a Christmas surprise.
