Holiday Hands

I am a mom to three children, ages 1, 4 and 7. I have three girls which can be a handful but I am so thankful for them. My sister and I have moved in together during COVID and that has been a godsend. She is able to watch my kids when I have a cleaning job and I can do the same for her. We have a “school” in our kitchen for the oldest ones every day since their schools in New York City are remote. I have a lot of anxiety about winter and the pandemic and pray to God that I can continue to work. I find joy in cooking. I love to bake too. It would be wonderful to have a loaf pan and a pie pan so I could make some special desserts for Christmas. I would also be so happy to have enough money to be able to splurge on Christmas dinner- a turkey, cranberry sauce, an apple pie, and a pumpkin pie. Finally, it would be wonderful to have new boots for my children and my sister’s two children so they could play outside this winter, even when it is cold and slushy.
