Holiday Hands

I came to NYC in February to be with my husband. I have a 2 year old son. It has been a hard time to be a new immigrant to this country. I was learning English but those classes were cancelled due to COVID. They have started again remotely so I am happy about that. My husband works in construction. He didn’t have any income for three months but he is back at work now. However, we used all of our savings to make it through March through May. I would like to make my first Christmas in America a special one. I would like to buy a small tree with flashing colored lights. I think my son would be so happy to watch it. It would make me happy too. I would also like to buy my son a PawPatrol truck as that is his favorite show. Finally I would like to buy my husband a warmer hat and better gloves. He is outside all day long with his job and it is getting colder in New York City. I don’t have a coat either so that would be a wonderful Christmas gift. God bless you.
