Holiday Hands

They came together and created a family. They are raising their grandchildren together and are trying to make sure they get all the love and guidance needed for this world. They are a very close-knit family. Life has not always been easy for them, and find housing on the reservation is hard. They have had to move around, but luckily a house became available. When they got their home, it was empty, and it has taken while to make it a home. They realize that a TV set is not an essential need, but they think it would be wonderful to experience this little luxury. The picture was taken in front of a quilt given to one of their children for graduation -- a Lakota tradition.
