Holiday Hands

I am a young mother with a beautiful son who just turned one year old. I aspire to be a pastry chef someday. For now, I have had to put those dreams on hold as I navigate New York City during COVID. I know these first years are so important for my little guy. We live in a single room. He just starting walking like crazy so I swapped out my double bed for a twin bed so he has room to cruise around our room. He is delighted with the new space! I would be so grateful for extra diapers as those are a big expense and I don’t have much cash at the moment. I am also trying to figure out how to keep him warm in the stroller. I put him in many, many layers but when we go inside the grocery store, he gets so hot and I can’t take all the layers off. It would be so nice to have a footmuff for his stroller and warmer gloves and a hat for me.
