Holiday Hands

This Lakota grandmother lives deep in the country on a hilly and rutted road that is not always passable. She thought a wonderful and practical gift would be a sleigh and some snow shoes. It has already been snowing where they live! The girls are in elementary school and do well. When they are snowed in, the grandmother teaches them, and they often do crafts together. She lately got the girls a kitten and puppy, and they are all enjoying them.
