Holiday Hands

This Lakota grandmother is the family matriarch. She loves waking up before the sun, drinking her coffee, and eating a sweet pastry every morning. She opens her home to everyone in need. Even in this pandemic, she still allows her family to stay with her if they need to. She was taught to never turn family away and to always take care of each other; it's the Lakota way. Last winter, her furnace gave out, and she now needs a new furnace. She wishes for a new space heater that resembles a fireplace. Since she relies on space heaters, a pretty one would add another kind of warmth to her home.
