Holiday Hands

I am currently living in transitional housing with my partner and my one year old daughter. My partner works part time but it is not enough to pay for rent, heat, and groceries. There is no kitchen where we live so that makes it particularly hard for me. I have learned to be a good cook with a microwave, but I miss a stove so much. I have strong faith and believe that God will help me. Hopefully my partner gets called back full time soon to the restaurant where he worked, but I don’t know what will happen this winter with COVID and restaurants in NYC. I would be so grateful for groceries that I can use to make a Christmas dinner. I also would like to buy a small Christmas tree with lights for my daughter. I think she would be so delighted to look at the blinking lights each night while I tell her bedtime stories. I would also like to ask for prayers for me and my family during this difficult time.
