Holiday Hands

This young man still lives at home with his elderly mother and teenaged niece. His mom does volunteer work throughout the week and he helps with the cooking, cleaning, laundry, or whatever else needs done around the house so that she doesn't have to deal with things when she gets home from volunteering all day. He also helps the next door neighbor with yard work and cutting wood for them for the winter months.

Reading used to be one of his passions but his eye sight has gotten really bad over the past couple of years due to his diabetes. But he enjoys a good game of one on one with his brother and sitting down to dinner with his family to discuss the days events.
