Holiday Hands

Vontaya is a bright young woman building a family of her own. Prior to the outbreak of COVID-19, Vontaya was working as a maintenance worker for NYC parks. She worked through the pandemic until June when she and many others were laid off. Later that month Vontaya tested positive for COVID-19 and developed three other infections due to it. This was all further complicated by finding out she was also pregnant. Vontaya endured a painful pregnancy while being ill. Thankfully, she gave birth to a healthy baby boy last month and is now COVID-19 free. This is Vontaya’s second child, and she is overjoyed to give her daughter a younger brother. Vontaya would like to get her young daughter a new tablet for the holidays as well as some other needed baby supplies.
