$50,000 to Refugee Health Alliance

YOU are showing up for vulnerable families in crisis at the U.S. Mexico border by investing $50,000 in an amazing women-led organization that provides urgently needed medical care, Refugee Health Alliance.

Tens of thousands of migrants are huddled in northern Mexico hoping to seek refuge after fleeing poverty and persecution in their home countries.

These individuals and their families—including young children—are in dire need of medical attention following their long and difficult journey across Mexico to the U.S. border. These families are tired, scared, and vulnerable, with many packed into crowded makeshift camps while they wait to see what happens next.

With Title 42 expiring just last night, the need on the ground is expected to continue to grow. While so many aspects of this issue are complicated, one thing is not: families and children need and deserve medical care. We will not look away as individuals and families frantically search for emergency care for themselves and their children. 

Bolstered by your investment, Refugee Health Alliance is meeting the most immediate medical needs of migrants and refugees. Having successfully executed this critical work since 2018, their team is deeply embedded within local communities and provides free, culturally-inclusive medical care, including: 

• Essential adult and pediatric medical care;
• LGBTQIA+ centered care and gender affirmation, including mental health services and support;
• And midwifery & prenatal services and more

When a crisis strikes, we can show up for vulnerable families and children with love, compassion, and action to help during moments of uncertainty.
