Angelique + Chloe

Where do you turn when you need help? For Angelique, she was at a loss when she reached out to us.

Angelique is a single mother of 4 children. Like so many others, she is working two jobs just to keep mouths fed. She lost her main source of income in the spring as she is the sole transportation for her kids to get to school. But more importantly, losing her job meant losing her insurance and much-needed therapy for her oldest daughter, Chloe. 

“I hate to see Chloe’s mental health suffer due to lack of being able to pay for therapy. Her therapist is amazing and has made so much progress with Chloe. Chloe’s mental health has been up and down for the past year and beyond. She will suffer and I fear her mental health will deteriorate if she is not able to have her weekly therapy sessions.”

Thanks to you, our Together Rising community, and especially our #TEAMLOVE monthly donors, we were able to fund 6-months of weekly therapy for Chloe. But you didn’t stop there. You also paid for one of their monthly mortgage payments, giving Angelique and Chloe something even bigger than financial reprieve.

“Being able to provide counseling for my daughter Chloe will have lasting impacts. I am still in shock to be honest. To know there are people who care and are willing to help us is an amazing boost to help me keep going. We love you all and will be forever grateful for the impact this organization has had on our lives.
